We want to create a supportive learning environment, where children can get to know themselves and develop their full potential.
OUR STORY
Our foundation was born almost 10 years ago in Troncos del Talar, in Buenos Aires Province, as a simple project to organize sporting events in the neighborhood.
Today we have 4 different locations: Troncos del Talar, Barrio Obrero, Barrio Padre Mujica and Bajo Flores. More than 200 boys and girls take active participation in our programs.
We’ve gathered a team of volunteers and professionals from diverse fields to provide psychological and educational support not only to young people but also to their families.
Many players from these improvised soccer fields called potreros have already gone to soccer tryouts for top division clubs, such as Vélez, Tigre, Nueva Chicago, Lanús and Platense.
El Potrero has been declared of public interest by the Buenos Aires City Legislature and is supported by the Buenos Aires City Government to work comprehensively in the different neighborhoods in the city.
OUR VISION
We run a soccer workshop to foster values in children as well as their physical development and playing skills through sports. Our purpose is to educate and raise awareness of the importance of having interpersonal relationships, and being respectful to others and ourselves.
